Great candle, lousy air freshener July 19, 2010

I don't buy these for the scent, so much as the design. It makes a terrific little accent light, night light or mood lighting. I love that they're flameless and the design fits into my decor. It's a very clever feature that you turn it on by taking the shade off and on and that it turns off in 4 hours. Brilliant. Once in a while, I will replace the shade, but the scent is overwhelming at first and quickly dissipates to nothing.
I have several of these scattered around the house - they're addicting!

I would definitely recomend this product to anyone. I know it a little bit more pricy than sprays or a candle but it works great for me. It work really well in my dorm room and instantly freshing and a plus it relaxing to turn on right before bed. My dorm room at unvi is tiny so it doesny take much time to spread the fragances around and it really helps keep my room not smell like inside of my turtle tank's.

I'm gonna keep this short; I read about how lots of people said these were too strong. Maybe it's that I have a different scent than most people use (Willow Blossom) or the fact that I smoke in my house, but I found the scent pleasant and, unlike what you get with most reed diffusers or plug-ins, you can finally SMELL it w/o having to walk past the unit to catch a whiff. I, for one, am glad they are powerful enough to actually freshen a room rather than just leave a hint of a scent, if that, floating in the air.
The design is unique and absolutely top-notch, with an Asian flair and a calming, paper light diffusion. There are plenty of scents/designs to choose from, and although I haven't tried the other ones yet, I'm a huge fan of Willow Blossom.

I've given this product a very fair chance.....I've changed the shade several times in an effort to get the fragrance to last beyond the first day. I've not been successful. After placing the shade on the luminary base, the fragrance is quite overpowering, but by the second day, no smell at all. I consider this product a real waste of money.

I was really excited about this thing,but its not all that great. It does not really "smell",it eats batteries and the shades are almost impossible to find and are expensive. Unless you have money to "burn" save your money or spend it on the plug in variety.
